With the help of global positioning system one can determine his position as well as the position of other things of the area. It is a common device now days that is being used in the cars to determine and knowing the position of the car knowing about the road structure of the said area.  In the same way GPS aviation has also been used in the aviation system with the help of which a pilot of an aircraft could determine its position that also helps in landing of the place at the right position on the runway.

 Aviation is concerned not only with the making and designing of the airplanes but it also involved in the operations of the planes that is why it is very necessary for the aviation authority to use the right GPS device in its aircrafts.
In the past the said global positioning systems had only been used in the aircrafts that was affiliated directly with the satellite through the radars of the aviation which helps the pilot to find its way and locations but now this facility is also available in the cars of the people besides having the GPS aviation in the aircrafts.

 The above example transpires that the aviation is the very first company that is being used the facility of GPS in the aircrafts. In the present time the maps of all over the world have been updated in the global positioning system that have been installed in the planes so that the pilot may get advantage of knowing his each & every location  during the flight.

With the help of maps of GPS aviation the pilot can take his decision of lowering and flying up the airplane for the purpose of safety of the same. There is a difference between the GPSs used in the cars and in the aircrafts. Actually there is a big difference of technology between the same as the GPS of airplanes have been specially designed for the planes which are very sensitive in finding out each & every location of the plane.
